While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought back the old tradition of watching films in drive-in cinemas, France has experienced a new open-air screening practice.
To observe the health protocols related to the new pandemic, the Seine River in Paris will be a new venue for cinemagoers to enjoy movies on the river in boats.
In this cultural event that kicked off on Saturday and will last for 6 weeks, a number of 38 little boats have been set on the river to host movie enthusiasts.

The World Health Organization has declared it a global health emergency.
According to reports, so far about 30 thousand French people have been infected with the novel disease.
