France movie lovers watch films on Seine

Seine River hosts new films and audiences.

France film industry has introduced a new venue for watching films out in the open air.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought back the old tradition of watching films in drive-in cinemas, France has experienced a new open-air screening practice.

To observe the health protocols related to the new pandemic, the Seine River in Paris will be a new venue for cinemagoers to enjoy movies on the river in boats.

In this cultural event that kicked off on Saturday and will last for 6 weeks, a number of 38 little boats have been set on the river to host movie enthusiasts.

Coronavirus appeared first in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019, and has since spread globally.

The World Health Organization has declared it a global health emergency.

According to reports, so far about 30 thousand French people have been infected with the novel disease.
